The purpose of The Protection Project Association of Scholars of Trafficking in Persons is to create a network of scholars in the field of trafficking in persons. It is the belief of The Protection Project that including the topic of trafficking in persons in human rights curricula and other fields of learning is a necessary step in the prevention of a gross violation of human rights. It is the goal of the Association to foster open communication and connections between scholars in the different colleges and universities of the United States and abroad for the exchange of course materials, syllabi and the transmission of information. This membership will provide updates on educational tools, conferences, training programs, workshops and advancements made in human rights and human trafficking education around the world.
