Ms. Elaine Panter

Director of Programs and Planning

Ms. Panter conducts research, analysis and programs on human rights in the Middle East, coordinates The Protection Project publications, organizes workshops and trainings on trafficking in persons and violence against women, and manages TPP’s internship program. Prior to joining The Protection Project, Ms. Panter worked on humanitarian assistance programs with various human rights organizations in Burma, Thailand, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Haiti. Ms. Panter is fluent in English, Italian and French. She received her Master of Arts in International Relations and International Economics from The Johns Hopkins University (SAIS) in May 2007, a Laurea in Scienze Internazionali e Diplomatiche from the University of Bologna, Italy in July 2005 and is currently pursuing her LLB at the College of Law in London, UK.
