The Protection Project is now accepting applications for participation in its new online learning course for the Fall 2007 semester, “International Human Rights: Theory and Practice.” The course will be taught by Dr. Mohamed Mattar, Executive Director of The Protection Project and Adjunct Professor of Law, from September 24, 2007 through December 14, 2007. The course is designed to provide participants with a basic understanding of the main issues related to theory of and practice in international human rights and is open to students currently working toward an academic degree, as well as human rights practitioners. The course is taught free of charge, in the English language, and is designed as an interactive, discussion-based learning tool.
